The problem
The dealer fills state subsidy forms on behalf of farmers and carries the case until the government releases payment. Applications were tracked on paper, farmers had no visibility of their own stage, and field staff, office staff and accounts all needed different views of the same case.
What we built
- Case tracking through every stage of the scheme, from camp registration to payment release
- Five separate roles with their own logins: owner, supervisor, office, accounts and field worker
- Marathi interface throughout, written for farmers and field staff rather than for software users
- WhatsApp updates to the farmer at each stage
- Field camp data capture, so village camps feed the same pipeline
Where it stands
Live for client review with demo cases and a Marathi testing guide. Built as a product, so the same platform can be sold to other dealers running the scheme.
Worth knowing
Government facing tools are judged on whether a clerk trusts them. The interface was benchmarked against public sector design patterns for exactly that reason.
